LEVO (meaning to 'elevate', 'lift off' or 'unburden') is a Yorkshire based collective of architects and craftsman passionate about creating sustainable, creative and uplifting solutions to the challenges of everyday environments and experiences. Whether it is extending your home, re-imagining existing spaces or creating something completely unique we are always interested in working with open-minded clients that recognise the added value of having something crafted specifically for them. All our projects design are overseen by a Chartered architect and certified Passivhaus Designer who has extensive experience designing and delivering major industrial, commercial and education buildings using both traditional and MMC building methods.
Whether you are looking to re-engineer your home to better meet your families needs, crave a home office that inspires you to work or you have a thread of an idea about an underground lair you wish to build out of recycled tyres, then we are here to help you find a solution.

At LEVO we are passionate about housing and creating great places to live. We have experience working in the modular/off-site industry, are qualified Passivhaus Designers and have won awards for our academic work. However, we are also concerned with the economic and political challenges in delivering a viable scheme and we would love to share our experience with you.

Every project and family is unique. Whether you are a house of early risers seeking the morning sun to illuminate breakfast time or you have grown so fast there is simply not enough space to fit you all in, we can help make your home work harder for you.

At LEVO buildability is key and we are always undertaking our own research projects and experiments to better understand the materials we are using. Whether that means taking a plastering course, fabricating our own sash windows or getting carried away building a treehouse, we are always looking to improve our practice. We hope to grow this aspect of the business and intend on launching a range of products and complimentary construction services in the near future.
